Misty Dunn

Misty Y. Dunn serves as Office Manager, Lab Director, and Preservation Professional at Southern Research. She is an alumna of Georgia Southern University where she received a B.A. in Anthropology with a minor in Biology, and an M.A. in Social Science with an emphasis in Archaeology. Misty joined Southern Research in 2010 and has conducted cultural resource records reviewsA search of state archaeological site files, National Register listed properties, and other repositories to identify previously recorded archaeological sites or historic resources. Misty is a member of the Register of Professional Archaeologists, Society for Georgia Archaeology, Southeastern Archaeological Conference, and currently serves as a Board member for the Georgia Council of Professional Archaeologists. When she isn’t working, Misty enjoys traveling, snuggling with furry animals, and trying to keep up with her teenage son.
