J. Jones (JJ) joined Southern Research as their Architectural Historian in 2026. JJ received their Bachelor of Arts in Art History and Psychology from Florida International University in 2023 and is in the process of completing their Master of Historic Preservation degree with a certificate in geographic information systems (GIS) at the University of Georgia. They have experience conducting surveys throughout Georgia and developing GIS applications for mapping and surveying historic resources.Outside of work, JJ enjoys playing video games, going to concerts, printmaking, and book arts.
