Obahiah Brooks (OB)
Cultural Resource Specialist
Obadiah Brooks (OB) is a Cultural Resource Specialist at Southern Research and has been with the company since 2016, serving in various capacities. He is a knowledgeable field technician, researcher, and report contributor. He has a detailed eye for field and artifact photography as well as graphics development. He has experience in all phases of investigation and excavation and has participated in projects across the Southeast for various state and federal agencies. He is extremely versed in the natural world and can identify native, rare, invasive, and domesticated flora and fauna. When he’s not working, he occupies his time with his two kids, his dogs and cat, doing odd jobs for friends and neighbors, as well as hiking, backpacking, caving, reading, and listening to music.
